UPDATE ON PASTOR SCHELTER

Pastor Schelter is recuperating at home from pancreatitis. Pastor is still weak and slowly returning to a regular diet after a diet of liquid nourishment. He is thankful for all the prayers, good wishes, cards, and gifts he has received. Since he still requires a lot of rest and quiet, everyone is asked to continue to send your cards and good wishes through the church office. Pastor is expected to continue his recovery through January

PASTOR SCHELTER RECOVERING IN LUTHERAN GENERAL HOSPITAL

We keep Pastor Schelter in our prayers. He is being treated at Lutheran General Hospital, Park Ridge for a non-life threatening illness. He has asked that there be no phone calls or visits so that he can continue to focus on his recovery. Cards may be sent to the church and will be delivered to him.

WE PRAY GOD'S COMFORT FOR THE FAMILY OF CHRISTIAN VOLKMANN

We pray God's comfort and hope in the resurrection of Christ for the family of Christian Volkmann, the son of David and Maria and the brother of Amanda. Visitation will be Monday, November 28th at Oheler's Funeral Home, 2099 Miner Street, Des Plaines from 3:00 till 9:00 p.m. On Tuesday, November 29 there will be visitation from 10:00-11:00 am at Trinity Lutheran Church, Des Plaines followed by a service of celebration for the life of Christian.

SHINING STARS MUSIC SERIES

This Sunday the 2nd show in the Shining Stars Music Series, Broadway Hits, will be presented. Dinner, consisting of baked ham, scalloped potatoes, green been casserole, mostaccioli and salad.

The musical production, Broadway Hits, begins at 6pm Such hits as The Wizard and I, Seasons of Love, Always a Bridesmaid and many others.
