Highlights from the 2011 Annual Meeting
A quorum of 78 people was reached for the 2011 Annual Meeting held on January 29-30, 2011.
The following people were unanimously approved as the Nominating Committee for 2011:
Brand Gustus, Erik Hallberg, Karen Hemzacek, Anita Oas, Andrew Rehm and Marilyn Sauerberg
The following people were unanimously elected as new Council Members for a 3-year term:
Daniel Dorman, Victoria Flood, Frank Hauser and Jan Kirchwehm
Brianna Voss was elected to serve the remaining 2 years of a vacated term
Amendments to the constitution were unanimously approved. Those amendments can be found by CLICKING HERE The Council will be working on the implementation logistics of having one youth and one young adult Council member for 2012.
The good news is that we ended 2010 with a $12,000 surplus! Of that surplus, 15% will be sent to LSSI. The remainder will go to the Contingency Fund for future years.
The 2011 budget was approved as presented with 3 nay votes. This $433,996 budget contains an $18,000 deficit.
